Charming antique Kazak Caucasian rug, from northwest Caucasus , circa 1900. The Large X design covered the entire red field of this beautiful Kazak rug. The frame is superb: The white main border bears a file of Beetles, alternating red , light blue, yellow and pale green. This rug is in excellent condition with all original ends and edges, red wool weft and warp.
